Ludy's Main St. BBQ began in 1994, when gourmet chef Paul Ludovina returned to his home town of Woodland, California, after spending 10 years in Santa Barbara designing and opening restaurants. He wanted to open a restaurant that provided a unique style of BBQ food in a western style setting. Since it’s inception and grand opening, Ludy’s has come a long way. The staff has grown from 20 to 45 people.
The food is 100% homemade, authentic and fresh. The fries are hand-cut daily from REAL potatoes. The BBQ ribs are smoked for six hours and are the best you’ll find anywhere! Paul is now selling his famous BBQ sauce in all local Nugget Market and Food 4 Less stores and you can also order by phone.
If you decide to dine-in, you’re in for a treat! You can choose to eat inside where the walls are covered in 100-year-old barn wood and have all kinds of funky western style knick-knacks hanging on them. If you prefer to eat outside, you’ll love the serene atmosphere of the custom-built patio that is complete with a babbling brook and fountain.
